TEDDER

Houston
Mon, Sep 30, 1996
My grandfather, David Alexander TEDDER,
was one of 7 boys and 11
girls that we know. His father, James A. TEDDER, was married 3
times: Edna OUZTS, Edna
Coroline (?), and Emma COX.
James A. had
5 brothers, that we know of, Manon, Henry, John, Bob, and Tom. My
great, great grandfather was James Elic TEDDER. We do not know my
great great grandmother's name. I am searching for information
regarding this family of mine.

I am searching for any info on the parents of my
great-great-grandfather, James Ludlow THOMPSON,
b. 1826 in Courtland, AL. He married Mary Ann DUDLEY in Choctaw
Co. in circa 1853. Mary Ann's parents, Ignatius and Sarah, are
buried in Spring Hill Cemetery. James, aka "Lud"
eventually moved to Oktibbeha County after the Civil War. He and
Mary Ann are listed in the Choctaw 1860 census. James' lineage to
me includes Francis Ludlow (b. 1858 in Choctaw Co.), Frank Higdon
and Donald Franklin THOMPSON.

TYSON/TISON/TICEN,
JOHNSON
Josie
Vaughn Fri Feb 26, 1999
Listed on the 1850 Franklin
Co
AL census is the following: 987/987: TISON,
Warren,
age 56, rancher, b. GA; Nancy, age 48, b. SC; Young, 19, b. SC; Nancy,
17, b. AL; Julia, 12, b. AL; Jackson, 10, b., AL; Bluford, 5, b.
AL.
The 1850 Choctaw Co, MS census lists: 715/715: TICEN,
Waren, age 47, farmer, b. GA; Nancy, age 43, b. SC; Young, 20, b. AL;
Louisa,
16, b. AL; July, 11, b. AL; Andrew, 8, b. AL; Arelia, 7, b. AL;
Boalman,
4, b. AL. Ages are different, but July could be Julia; Andrew
could
be Andrew Jackson, Boalman could be Bluford. The Choctaw census
was
taken from a book form that someone put together. Could this be
the
same family? I am looking for Arelia or Arrilla TYSON
who went by the name of Sarah and m. James JOHNSON,
probably
in Choctaw Co, MS. I believe that the age for Arelia is wrong,
but
the name is the same as who I am looking for. Possibly some of
the
children came with other family members from Franklin Co AL before
Warren.
Can anyone out there help? Josie Vaughn
