Wilson, Z. |
J. W. Wade became a regimental
commissary upon formation of the regiment. Wm. Collins, and A.J. Knapp
also served as Captains, and Capt. Pat. Norton is noted as commanding in
February of 1863. also served as commanding officer of the Quitman Rifles.
In addition to the men of Company C, there were nine other Holmes Countians
in this regiment, including Lt. Wm. Irish who served as regimental adjutant.
