Issaquena Genealogy and History Project: The Newman Photograph Collection

Col. John Heath married Mary M. Stewart of Copiah County, Mississippi, in 1852. She was the daughter of Thomas Stewart, a planter of that county. Mary M. Stewart Heath, who was a consistent member of the Methodist church in Issaquena County, died in 1864.
