Mrs. Vaughn was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a substitute teacher for many years in the Vancleave schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vancleave and was active in the WMU and other areas of the church. Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Vaughn, one son, Jeffrey L. Vaughn and her parents, Earl S. and Ada Flowers Davis. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 13, 2005, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, January 14, 2005, there will be an 11 AM church service at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave, where friends may call from 10- 11 AM. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Road. Vancleave, MS. | | VOELKEL, Annabelle | Annabelle Voelkel, a homemaker, died of a heart attack Wednesday in Mobile, Ala. She was 58. Mrs. Voelkel was born in New Orleans and lived in Pascagoula, Miss., for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula. A funeral will be held Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p. m. at Westlawn Cemetery No. 2 in Westwego, LA. 02-14-1992 Times Picayune |
