Simmons and Susan McKissack Simmons. By 1850 the family was
living in
Marion, Lauderdale Co. Ms. Their daughter was a school teacher
and
married William Tillman Burgess. Thomas and Amanda are buried
in Rose

LIDDELL's in Lauderdale Co., MS. My great grandfather, SAMUEL
WITHERSPOON LIDDELL, is listed as being about 17 years old in
the 1850
census, living in the household of a ROBERT W. LIDDELL who was
about 45
years of age. I am guessing that Robert was an uncle. SAMUEL
WITHERSPOON LIDDELL was born in Alabama. By 1861 he had gone to
Arkansas. Any info on these two or any other LIDDELL's would be
greatly
appreciated.
