By 1860, NATHAN and ANN were on the tax rolls in
Henderson Co. TX. NATHAN didn't appear on the
1862 rolls with his wife and family. He may have
fought in the Civil War as did his son ZACHARIAH
by CAROLINE.
Would so appreciate any help or info on NATHAN'S
parents and siblings. Also anything on wives

purchased 200
acres from ELIAS MOORE. They had children named GUS ,BEN b.

DAVID b. 1872, JOHN b. 1885, CHARLIE b. may 1888, ALICE b. April
1887,
FANNIE b.Jan 1875, MAE JANE b. Jan 1873, MARTIN KENNEDY, JR.
b.Jan 1877,
AND JOE b.?. ALICE AND FANNIE KENNEDY married 2 YARRELL
BROTHERS, SIMON
YARRELL, Jr. AND CHARLIE YARRELL. We are looking for the
mother, father,
siblings of Martin Kennedy. Martin is listed in the 1880
Lauderdale
County, MS census, Volume 11, Enumeration District 93, Sheet 4,
Line 19.
Does anyone know a site on line where I can obtain a copy of the
deed
from ELIAS MOORE to MARTIN AND ADELINE KENNEDY?
We are also looking for MAY JANE KENNEDY, b. January 1873 who
was listed
in the 1900 Clay County Census. She had daughters named,
SALLIE- b.July
1889, MYRA b. March 1894, HAMIE? b. Oct.1896, JANE b. Nov.1897,
AND
MATTIE b. May 1900. The Census lists MAY JANE as a Black female
who was
a widower. What was her Husband's Name? May Jane is the
daughter of
Martin and Adeline Kennedy.

One son was named Albert BENTON. Albert died in 1949. Does
anyone know
what happened to the girls and Elbert SHAMBURGER? Alice maried
a man
with the last name JOHNSON. She lived in Lauderdale County
until about
1901. She had several children by JOHNSON. Her youngest son by
JOHNSON
was named Van. He was born about 1900. She moved to Scott
County, MS.
around 1901. Alice's second husband's name was Tom COLEMAN.
Her son,
Van JOHNSON, was last known to live in Gary, IN. as a policeman
in the
1930's and 1940's. Does anyone know if he had any children?
