Staff Sgt. Robert L. Love Jr (Date: 11 a.m., Dec. 20, 2006) Services for Staff Sgt. Robert L. Love Jr., a Livingston, Ala., native, died Dec. 1 serving his country in Iraq. He was killed by a roadside bomb, according to the Department of Defense, during combat operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Graveside services for Love will be held today at 11 a.m., Dec. 20, 2006 at Pentecostal Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Russell, MS. Officiating the funeral will be Elder Keith Tisdale and Bishop Marcela Evins. Love is survived by: his wife, Brianne Love, of Germany; his two daughters Brianna, and Tanessa, of Birmingham, Ala.; his father Robert L. Love Sr., of Livingston; two sisters, Rickitta Thomas, of Gainesville, Ala., and Evelyn Ford of Birmingham; and two brothers, Reginald Love and Jeremy Love, both of Livingston. His maternal grandmother, Annie Williams and an aunt, Bobbie Moore both live in Meridian. Robert L. Love Jr. was raised in Livingston, Ala. He was a graduate of Livingston High School and served in the United States Army for eight years. ![]()
