Clara B. Baker, 77, of Picayune passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Miss.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28. 2010 at 2 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Clara was a lifetime resident of the area and a homemaker. Her greatest pleasure in life was being surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, George W. Baker; and two brothers, Charles H. Smith and Jerry W. Smith.
She is survived by: two sons, James (Jana) Baker of Tomball, Texas and Johnny Ray (Angela) Baker of Houston, Texas; one brother, Clayford (Doyce) Smith of Picayune; two sisters, Lola Mae Westbrook of Picayune and Patricia (Gary) Cowan of Perkinston, Miss.; five grandchildren, James Anthony Baker, Keely Anna Baker, George Corey Thomas Baker, Ryan Matthew Baker and Terri Lynn Baker; and one great-grandchildren, James Aiden Baker.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
