Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Gloria Tate Osbourn, 80, of Picayune, who passed away in Gulfport, Miss.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Reverend Tim Mims will officiate at the service.
A native of Picayune, she was a former Co-Owner of Osbourn Heating and Air.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Judge Lonnie James and Vera Odessa Whitman Tate; her husband, James Andrew Osbourn Sr.; and sisters, Katherine Delores Tate, Dorothy Jean (Curtis) Tate Rouse, Marion "Mitzi" (Ronnie) Janice Tate Stockstill, and Billie Jo Tate Kellar.
Survivors include: her sons, James "Jimmy" (Teresa) Andrew Osbourn II of Bay St. Louis, Miss. and Don Adrian Osbourn of Picayune; her grandson, Andrew David Osbourn; great-granddaughter, Aurora Jane Harper; great-grandson, Andrew David Osbourn, II; her brother, James "Jim" (Diane) Thomas Tate of Picayune; brother-in-law, Charles H. Kellar of Hickory, La.; aunt, Yvonne Bass Whitman of Picayune; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Cannon Hospice and Woodland Village Nursing Home for the care extended Mrs. Osbourn.
