Mary Joel Cross Mansfield, 72, of Picayune passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, La.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Resurrection Life Worship Center, with Bro. Alan Hickman officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Mansfield Family Private Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mary, a native of New Orleans, La., moved here from Louisiana thirty-seven years ago. She was a registered nurse at Slidell Memorial Hospital and a member of Resurrection Life Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles S. and Eugenia Cross; and a sister, Theresa Dykes.

She is survived by: her husband, Noel M. Mansfield of Picayune; three sons, Marvin Mansfield of Picayune, Steven Mansfield of Hattiesburg and Darin Mansfield of Picayune; one brother, Charles Cross of Picayune; and four grandchildren.
