Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Nicholas Lee Smith, 88, of Picayune, who passed away Tuesday, February 16, 20 10 in Hattiesburg.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, he was an Engineer and a Land Surveyor.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William E. Smith and Ora Watkins Smith.

Survivors include: his children: Larry E. Smith of Picayune, Catherine Forbes James of Picayune, and Chris Smith of Picayune; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Laurie Smith Walters of Perkinston, Miss., and Rebecca Smith McDonald of Baton Rouge, La.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 trom 9-11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
