Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 10 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Roburt Jay Robinson, 53, of Picayune, who passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 in Jackson, Miss.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.
Ray C. Palmer, Sr. will officiate at the service.
A native of Chino, San Bernardino, Calif., he was a Truck Driver and Mechanic. Roburt served as a member of the United States Coast Guard.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Burton Herald Robinson; and one brother, Ray Robinson.
Survivors include: his mother, Alice Elizabeth Ansell-Burdette of Picayune; one daughter, Alison LaShay Robinson of Carriere; one brother, Gilburt (Marilyn) Robinson of Picayune; two sisters, Suzanne (David) Ray of Texas and Joanne Robinson of California; one grandchild, Gabriela Rubi Barajas of Carriere; nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Tammy Penton-Smith.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
