Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church for Sarah Clemece "Bill" Mitchell, 90, of Picayune who passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Eld. Dewayne Long will officiate at the service.
A native of Pearl River County, she was a Homemaker and a member of Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Herscel R. Mitchell; her parents, William Fred and Virginia Pearl Bounds; one son, Edwin Mitchell; one granddaughter, Rhonda Michelle Davis; four sisters, Eula Parris, Wilkie Landrum, Ethel Mitchell and Bonnie Tate; and two brothers, J.R. Bounds and Kenny Bounds.
Survivors include: her children, Reginald Mitchell (Patsy) of Picayune, Shiree Bounds (Johnnie) of Picayune, Rodney Mitchell (Ann) of Brooklyn, Miss., Marilyn Miller (Carey) of Carriere, and Roger Mitchell (Sheila) of Picayune; 13 grandchildren, Colleen Hart, Kris Ladner Esculano, Craig Davis, Keim Davis, Cory Davis, Zach Davis, Keela Mitchell, Chad Strain, Brad Stain, Drew Anderson, Jennifer Mitchell Smith, Jaimee Penton and Jordyn Mitchell; 23 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Fred Bounds, Jr. of Picayune.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
