Barns Cemetery
Barns Cemetery is located East of Charleston and about one mile west of Oakland Mississippi, South of Hwy 32 on property now owned by William Brewer. This must have been a family cemetey because there are only Three Graves. Indexed By: Jeri Little September 1997. Her notes are as follow.
"On page 10 of A History of Tallahatchie County, it list Shadrach E. as an attorney and has the wrong year that he died.
On page17 it list S.C. Barns which I think is the father of Durrett and Shadrach. Durrett is listed just below S.C. Barns on page 17.
