**note about Ball Hill Cemetery:
This cemetery is located west of Highway 15 between Walnut and Tiplersville, near the Ball Hill Church.  Originally the graveyard was used by both African Americans and White families living in the surrounding area. Ball Hill is a well known African American community in Tippah County.   The Confederate grave of  E. W. Cutbirth is one of the only remaining marked white graves in the cemetery.

**note about Coker Cemetery:
In Tiplersville, at highway 15, Turn left on CR 300 and go 2.5 miles. Turn left on CR 309 and go .2 of a mile. The cemetery is on the right, in the woods on the Hines place. The house number just before the cemetery is 3521 CR 309. The cemetery is abandoned and  overgrown, with no road.  It is beyond a creek and 3 barbwire fences from CR 2309.
 

**note about Hopkins Cemetery (See pictures of Gravestones)
Located east of Hwy 15 on County Road 215, Hopkins Road.  This cemetery has always been African American and has maintained some of it old stones.  Some of the stones are missing and broken, there are several unmarked sunken graves.
