 Hays / Hayes / Haws Cemetery

driving directions: from MS-50 intersection in Walthall MS. Travel 0.9 miles on Hwy 9 south towards Eupora Ms. Turn onto small log road on right side of road and park car. Walk down the road aproximatly 0.1 miles immeadatly turn left and walk into woods. You will see a small ditch cross this ditch and cemetery will be straight ahead of you. (note: this ditch surrounds the cemetery you will notice the small fallen down building covering 2 of the graves.)

note: not all markers were found the transcription was taken from Dr. McCains cemetery book. this cemetery is located in the middle of a wooded area and has been over grown with trees. The small building covering 2 of the graves is missing the roof and the walls have begun to collapse. This cemetery is very neglected and in a few years the rest of the markers will no longer be standing or visible due to the heavy underbrush.
