Nancy Faulkner Clegg was the wife of Campbell Clegg (spelled Camel on Elizabeth Horn Clegg’s stone) and the mother of John, James A. and Elizabeth, who are all buried in this cemetery.. Family records actually have her being born in 1776 instead of 1778. My grandfather Millard Fillmore Clegg Sr. used to tell the story that had passed down through the family that “she was so big she had to turn sideways to get through the door”.
