William M. Ellison Carried to Concord Church For Interment

     William M. Ellison, aged 74, died Wednesday at his home in Yazoo City from heart trouble. His funeral, with arrangements in charge of the Gregory Funeral Home, was conducted at noon Thursday from Concord Baptist Church. The Rev. E. D. Haughton, pastor of the Methodist Church at Benton, officiated at the services.
     Mr. Ellison was born at Pickens September 26, 1860, and spent the greater part of his life in Yazoo County. Surviving are his niece, Mrs. Gus Kappas, of this city; his sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Turner, of Vicksburg, Mrs. Sam Ellison of Yazoo City; his nephew, B. K. Ellison, of this city; Mike Ellison of Pickens; and a brother, Richard Ellison, of Anguilla.
