Pine Island School The one-room school was open from 1915 to about 1962, and is located approximately 10 miles south of Ryegate, Montana, in the Big Coulee. Richard Zinne, formerly of the Big Coulee, attended school there from 1956 to 1960/61.His cousins were students at Pine Island for at least another year after that.
Pine Island School 1916-17 I found this booklet in my great aunt Nellie Hocker's estate and scanned it to show the detail of the illustrations.
