Sorry, but I can't do personal research because I don't live in Granite County. Karen, this site's co-coordinator, on the other hand, does live in Granite County. Even better, she works at the County Court House in Phillipsburg! Karen has volunteered to do research in the county records. She can provide copies of old obits and other records. There may be a small fee associated with getting the copies. (The fee is paid to the county, not Karen.) Karen can be contacted at her email address .

Granite County holds a special place in my heart, because my ancestors lived here. I have listed all resources that I know of at this site. If you know of something else, I will be glad to hear about it. But please don't email me asking me if I know where to obtain such-and-such records. It would be on this site if I did. If you want to help, or volunteer in anyway, boy-oh-boy I sure need the help! If there are any locals out there, this is a great place to help and it won't even take alot of your time.
