The Montana State Genealogical Society was founded in 1989 with the purpose of promoting the study of genealogical and historical research within the State of Montana.

 

If your ancestor was in Montana before 31 December 1929, why not honor them in our First Families and Early Settlers Project?  Volumes I and II are currently available for purchase and Volume III will be available in late September 2010. For information about this project and to purchase Volumes I, II, or III please see the First Families Web Site.  We will be publishing a Volume IV.
