Featured Montana State Death Indexes MSGS offers 2 separate CDs, which
together cover the recorded deaths in the state of The first
CD is in MS Access, and covers the earliest records through 2002.
It is available for only $20.00 (postage & handling included). It
is very easy to use, and about 700,000 names are on the listing, along with
identification of place of death. This information is also on our
website. The second
CD is in MS Excel, and covers the 41,165 death certificates filed in
Orders for both of these valuable CDs
may be sent to MSGS, If you do
find errors in any of these records, please complete the following information and send to Jim
Edgar with the Montana Dept. of Public Health and Human Services. He
will check it against the paper copies in his vault and inform MSGS of the
