Montana Pioneer Stories

You are our 9042 visitor since March 16, 2000 -- thanks for stopping by!

Thank You Rootsweb for hosting this site.

This site is dedicated to all the many men, women and children who came to Montana with a dream. They came from everywhere, by horseback, boat, railroad and some by wagon. Some were miners, others farmers, ranchers, teachers, politicians, etc. the list is endless, and yes, some were even outlaws. If you have a story or newspaper article etc. that you would like to share, please send it to me. Be sure to include a statement of the source for your information, (newspaper articles please include the date and name of the newspaper). I have to limit them to information submitted  with sources. Family records are fine, I just need some reference to post with the story.  Thanks

To submit a story please add Mt Pioneers to the subject line. If you have photos you would like displayed with the story, feel free to attach then and send them along with your story.  If you are seeking information about one of the stories, please add Mt .Pioneers to the subject line along with the title of the story you are interested in.
