**Hello,and welcome to the Sanders County MTGenWeb page. My name is Angela Hartman, and I am the county coordinator for Sanders county. I hope you will enjoy your time here and find exciting things pertaining to your ancestors. If you have something you would like to add, and share with other researchers, please contact me and if it is pertaining to Sanders county, I will gladly add it to the site. Much of the information you will find here has been given by researchers such as yourself. I try to frequently update and add new things. If you see something that needs correcting, let me know. **Sanders County was created from Missoula County in 1905, and was named after Wilbur Fiske Sanders, pioneer and U.S. Senator from Montana.
