Dear Comrade Webb
I have been waiting to see that item about me in companies H and E 12^th US Inf that was in the field with troops F and G 8^th US Inf. I was in the first to do guard over Sitting Bull after he was shot on the Grande River. We buried Bull Head at Fort Yates. He was a game fellow and was lieutenant of the Indian police. We sure are having hard times here but I hope to be able to send for a button and a badge next month.
