1881 Tax List for District 1 Campobello Parish

The following information was received from the NB Provincial Archives in New Brunswick. These records are NOT on microfilm. They were found in a file containing Campobello Information that is held in their Archival Holdings. Unfortunately I did not write down the file number. However if you wish to view the documents I am sure the archivest there can steer you in the right area as he did me :) Transcribed by Heather Waddingham.

(?) Indicates the word was hard to decipher and the spelling is questionable. Collector of the taxes in 1881 was R. Allingham. The bottom half of this document contains a list of the defalters. All have comment written after the name. I have added this information following a "-" after the surname
