Visiting?? How to get here & "Where to stay" April 2008

I am reducing my time on the computer and "reprioritizing" my life and putting my FAMILY first for the first time in a very long time. If you have something to contribute to the site to help in a "quicker update" please feel free to contact me.

~~ Search Engine ~~

Please note this search engine does not pick up names on scanned images. Therefore you may want to check some indivdual pages as well if looking for certain names. You may also just want to seach for the surname of a person and not the complete name, you may receive more hits. Scanned images are located on the Cemeteries & Churches Page, Historical Notes Page, Miscellaneous Page, and the Obituaries Page. When transcribing census records I used a "ditto" to save typing the surname on each line. As a result, every line that has a "ditto" is not recognized. (I used a ditto for ALL census records.) So if you are looking for a particular child/person, you may want to search for just the SURNAME and then you will be able to locate the family of this person, and hopefully the person you are looking for.

Search Hints Try using 1st 3 letters of surname with an asterisk ie. for Smith, Smi* REMEMBER:Census Enumerators were not the best spellers

As of October 13, 2008 you can no longer post new entries to the Guest book. You can click on the above link to view previous entries. I have removed the ability to post entries to do excessive "spam" in a short period of time (over 300 messages in a week and over 50 one day alone.)

If you are researching a particular family from Campobello, please feel free to view the old Guestbook, perhaps you will make contact with a long lost relative!

~ THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE PAST 9 YEARS ~

~ May we all have success in the coming year in our genealogy research. ~

You are our  visitor since 3 November 1999 - thanks for stopping by!

As of the October 2010 update we had 68,939 visitors to the site, including over 2900 visitors since the September 2009 update. Thanks for your continuing support!

Be sure to have a look at the great Aerial view of Wilson's Beach which is located on the Photo's and Images Page. I had a smaller version on this page but it was causing problems for some viewers. Please be patient as it loads as it is rather large. Contributed by Grant Wilson.
