CHUTE, HIRAM ROBERT - The death of Hiram Robert Chute of Welshpool, Campobello, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday December 2, 2001. Born in Campobello. He was the son of the late Hiram and Maria (Searles) Chute. Predeceased by one daughter, Irene Parker. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Colwell) Chute; one son, Harvey Chute and his wife Christine of Campobello; one sister, Pearl Finney of Brampton, ON.; one brother, Darrell Chute and his wife Marion of Campobello; two grandchildren, Rhonda Cook and Heather Mitchell; three great grandchildren, Nicholas and Cassidy Cook and Rebecca Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. Rested at the North Road Baptist Church with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm. The funeral took place at 2pm on Wednesday from the church with Rev. Donn Williams officiating. Interment took place in the North Road Cemetery. Donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen in care of arrangements.

BRIAN VERNON CHUTE of RUMNEY, N.H. and HERMON, ME- Brian Vernon Chute, 54, of School St., died unex-pectedly Aug. 30, 1999. He was born in Eastport, Jan. 26, 1945, the son of Glenna (Chute) Kinney. Mr. Chute graduated from Brewer High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a hand sewer for many years and served his Lord Jesus Christ for many years, as a chef, presently at Rumney Bible Conference. He was a member of the Hermon Baptist Church in Maine and attended the Gateway Alliance Church in Plymouth, N.H. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Carol A. (Harvey) Chute of Rumney, N.H.; one son, Larry J. Chute of Chester, S.C.; two daughters, Lisa (Chute) Miller of Bingham and Lori Jean Chute of Rumney, N.H.; his mother and stepfather, Alfred and Glenna Kinney of Campobello Island, N.B., Canada; six grandsons, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Rumney Bible Conference. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Hermon Baptist Church, Hermon, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. Burial will be held at 4 p.m. in North Road Cemetery, Campobello Island, N.B., Canada. Memorial gifts for the family may be given through the Hermon Baptist Church, RR 2, Box 4330, Bangor 04401. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.

CHUTE- At his residence, on January 16, 1992, Vernon Livingstone Chute of North Road, Welshpool, Campobello. Survived by one daughter, Marcia; one son, Garry; three sisters; two brothers; 6 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Rested at the North Road Baptist Church, Welshpool, Campobello, from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donn Williams officiating. Interment in the North Road Cemetary.

CHUTE- At the Down East Community Hospital, Machias, Maine, on Feb. 28, 1992, Eleanor Bernice Chute of Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, widow of Lawrence Chute. Survived by two daughters; two step-brothers; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Rested at North Road Baptist Church from where the funeral service was held on Monday, Mar. 2 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Donn Williams officiating. Interment was in the Wilson’s Beach Cemetary.

CHUTE, MARION - The death of Marion L. Chute of Campobello, New Brunswick, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital September 14, 2004. Born in Wilson's Beach, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Lowell and Christina (Green) Newman. Survived by her husband, Darrell Chute; daughters, Christina E. Wade (Kenneth) of Florida and Maureen Lee Dean (Albert) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; sister, Kathleen Cline of Campobello; grandchildren, Bonnie Wade and Kenneth Wade; great-grandchild, Gage Mortimer; several nieces and nephews. Resting at the North Road Baptist Church, Welshpool, New Brunswick with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 2 pm on Friday from the North Road Baptist Church with Rev. John Tremblett officiating. Interment will take place in the North Road Cemetery. The death of Edwin (Bubby) H. Chute of Campobello, N.B., occurred at the Campobello Lodge Nursing Home on November 7, 2004. Born in Campobello, N.B., he was the son of the late Clarence and Harriett (Cook) Chute. He is survived by daughter, Betty Ann (Nathan) Ewer of Bangor, Me.; sons, Clarence (Jane) Chute of Lubec, Me., and Calvin Chute of Campobello, N.B.; sisters, Lillian Corey, Glenna Kinney and Edna Calder; all of Campobello, N.B.; special friend, Thelma Chute of Campobello, N.B.; grandchildren, Kevin, Jonathan, Timothy, Caitlyn, Shane, David, Nathan and Heidi; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes (Allingham) Chute. Rested at the North Road Baptist Church, Campobello, N.B. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, from the church, with Rev. John Tremblett officiating. Interment will take place in the North Road Baptist Cemetery. CHUTE – At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B., on Tuesday, February 21, 1995, Merrill Chute, 75, of Campobello, N.B., son of the late Lorenzo and Jerusha Chute. He was predeceased by one sister, Ethel (Mrs. Rollin Carnes); one niece, Ethel McCullough and is survived by one brother, Lewis and Helen Chute of Welshpool, Campobello, many nieces and nephews.

Resting at the North Road Baptist Church, Campobello, until Friday, February 24, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Rev. Don Williams officiating.
