Williams,
Beckim ?
We have a Autographs Album which belonged to a Mrs. Joseph
Williams "Lottie".
Lottie started
this album in 1888, there are a number of notes written and
signed by her family and friends.
To My
Friends,
My Album is a garden spot,
Where all my friends may sow,
Where thorns and thistles flourish not,
But flowers alone may grow.
Whith smiles for sunshine, tears for showers,
I'll water, watch, and guard these flowers.
Dec. 25th, 1888
On the N.B.
Goverment site there is a Lottie Beckim listed as marrying Joseph
Williams, Bloomfield, Carleton County, N.B.
If Lottie is your relative, I'll gladly
give you this autograph album.
E-mail Sharon Webb
UPDATE
: I
mailed the Autograph Album to Darlene
Walsh who
lives in North Caroline, USA.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!
I received the autograph album yesterday and was near tears as I
opened and read it through.
I felt like I had stepped back in time to meet my family.
Several of the names in the book were familiar to me including at
least one Ruth Simmons who I am sure was a cousin.
There is certainly a lot for me to think about and I think I will
transcribe it for my web site so that if others have family in
the book they can read it and I can send them photo copies of
their families autographs.
God bless you again.
Darlene Walsh
