Roll of Methodist Heroes Unveiled
Valor and Heroism Will Be Remembered

A very impressive ceremony
was conducted at the Methodist church, Sunday morning when the
Honor Roll of the boys of the denomination who have fought and
are fighting for the defence of home and country and rendering a
consummate devotion to principle, was unveiled.
Mr. George Balmain, in
performing this duty, paid a glowing tribute to the valor and
heroism of the boys whose memories will be treasured by all
humanity.

They
Died For Freedom Of The World

Word has been received
that Allison
Sharp was killed in action in France.
He left here with the 140th. No particulars have been received.
He was 21 years of age and is survived by his father and mother,
one brother and two sisters.
At the time of his death he was attached to the 26th Pattlon.
Lieut.
George P. Fenwick is reported killed in action.
He was well known throughtout the province and was a graduate of
U.N.B.
Rev. L. A. Fenwick of Jacksonville, is a brother.
Many people in Woodstock will regret to hear of the death of Gunner Fred Bingham
from wounds Oct. 26th.
He was with the 65th and upon rerearching the other side was
drafted into an artillery unit at the front.
His
brother, Abe, is also at the front.
