| 1 | The death of Theresa Mary (Thomson) Mudie of Maces Bay, wife of Robie Thomson, occurred on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Winnifred McCormick. Theresa enjoyed music, dancing, gardening and reading. She is survived by three daughters, Caroline (William) Yorkston of Scotland, Tracie McManus and Jackie McManus, both of England; one brother, Terrie McCormick of Vancouver; father and mother-in-law Robert and Frances (Thomson) Lingley of Westfield; several nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2:00 pm from Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7425). | 2 | Pearl Lena (Perrin) Brown passed away on February 29, 2008 at the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC where she faithfully volunteered for many years. Born on October 6, 1921 in Clarendon, NB, Pearl was the daughter of the late Estella (Muir) and Roy Perrin. Pearl is survived by her sons, Wendall, Red Deer, AB, Reginald (Molly) Lone Butte, BC and David (LaDusta) Indianapolis, IN. Six grand- children, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Brothers Glen (Josie), Donald (Jean) and Percy (Pat). Sisters Doris (Earl) and Lorna (Rueben), and Sister-in-law Phyllis Perrin, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Harold, sister Grace, brothers Nelson and Irven. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Columbia-Bowell Chapel, New Westminster, where the service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 12:00 pm. Internment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, BC. A memorial service will be held at the Hoyt Baptist Church, Hoyt NB on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Born at Clarendon, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Duke) Howell. Violet was a member of the former St. Peter's Church, Public Landing, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Violet is survived by two daughters, Shirley Parker of Public Landing, and Yvonne (Bonnie) Jones (Kent) of Saint John; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Logan of Grand Bay-Westfield; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, G. Ralph Logan; a son-in-law, Lloyd Parker; a great grandson, Benjamin Logan; sisters Marguerite Smith, Hazel Brownell, Elsie Haycox, and Rose Logan; and by brothers, Cuthbert Howell, George Howell, and infant Thomas Howell. Resting at Brenan's Bayview Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425), with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Kate is survived by her husband, Murray; her children, Taylor Floyd, MacKenzie Floyd, and Riley Wilson, all at home; her parents; a brother, Grant Roche of Saint John; a sister, Julie Garnett (Sean) of Saint John; her mother- and step-father-in-law, Brenda and David Gillespie; her grandparents, Ernie and Treva Grant of Fredericton; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Robert Wilson.
