 The first Grand Falls Hotel circa 1880/90 -       Premier hotel de Grand-Sault vers 1880/90

The first Grand Falls hotel,(photo) built in 1853, stood on the corner of court street and Broadway.

It served originally as a court house and later as a hotel from 1876 to 1894,  the year it burned. The second Grand Falls hotel  (photo below), built in 1901, operated for years as the Grand Falls Motor Inn and is still standing on Broadway. It currently houses a nightclub.

Second Grand Falls hotel  built 1901- still in use, as a nightclub Deuxième Hotel de Grand-Sault construit en 1901 et sert aujourd'hui de boite de nuit.  

Le premier hotel de Grand-Sault  (photo ci-haut), construit en 1853 sur le coin des rues court et Broadway. Elle a été construit pour abriter la cour ( palais de justice) et fût vendue par la suite et servit comme hotel de 1876 à 1894, l'année o;u elle fût détruite par un incendie.  Le deuxième hotel  (photo à droite),fût construit en 1901, et fonctionnais pendant des années sous le nom Grand Falls Motor Inn. Elle est toujours sur le boulevard Broadway et sert présentment de club. (boîte de nuit).

American hotel and Minto hotel        -      La American hotel et l'hotel Minto

Two other hotels existed in Grand falls in the early 1900`s.  The american hotel was in the buidling currently housing Meubles Sénéchal Furniture on Broadway boulevard, and the Minto hotel, built by William Pirie, was on Main Street, between Sherriff street and Broadway. It was subsequently used as a hospital until it closed in 1964.

Deux autres hotels existaient à Grand-Sault au début des années 1900, soit la american hotel dans l'édifice qui abrite présentment  meubles sénéchal furniture,boulevard Broadway,  et le Minto hotel construite par William Pirie sur la rue Main entre les rues Sherriff et Broadway.  Elle a ensuite servit d'hôpital jusqu'à sa fermeture en 1964.
