To Joel Ingersole of Grand Manan in the County of Charlotte
Administrator of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits, of James Cullin late of Grand Manan deceased, Greeting.
Whereas the said James Cullin lately died intestate, as it is said, having whilst ** lived and at the time of his death Goods, Chattels and Credits within this Province, by means whereof, the granting Administration of all and singular the said Goods, Chattels, and Credits, and also the auditing, allowing, and final discharging the Account thereof, unto me doth belong: In order therefore that the said Goods, Chattels and Credits, may be well and faithfully administered, applied and disposed of according to Law, I do by these Presents grant unto you the said
(in whose fidelity I do confide) full power and authority to administer and faithfully dispose of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, and to ask, demand, recover, and receive whatever Goods, Chattels, Debts, or Credits, which to the said deceased whilst living and at the time of his death did any way belong; and to pay whatever Debts the said deceased at the time of his death did owe, or was chargeable with; so far as such Goods, Chattels and Credits will thereunto extend, and the Law charge you, you being first sworn, well and faithfully to administer the said Goods, Chattels and Credits, and to pay the Debts of the said deceased, and to make or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the said deceased, and to exhibit the same Inventory into the Registry of the Surrogate Court and Court of Probates in the said County of Charlotte, and also to render a just and true account of your Administration when you shall be thereunto required. And I do by these Presents make, ordain, and depute you Administrator of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said deceased.

Daggett personally appeared before me and made solemn oath that the within Inventory of Appraisement in writing by them taken and subscribed are just, true, & impartial & according to the best of their knowledge.

You are hereby directed and required to make an Inventory and Appraisement of all and singular the goods, chattels, and effects, which James Cullen late of Grand Manan, in the said County, yeoman deceased lately died seized and possessed of and to make return of your proceedings under your hands and upon your oath into the prerogative court of the said Province within three months from the date hereof.

KNOW all Men by these Presents, that we, Joel Ingersol, Ebenezer Wormell & Frederick Foster of Grand Manan in the County of Charlotte and the Province of New-Brunswick are held and firmly bound unto our Sovereign Lord and King in the sum of three hundred pounds Current money of the Province aforesaid to be paid to our said Lord the King his Heirs and Successors : for which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, and every of them and us jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals, dated this twenty second day of October in the fifty third Year of his Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini 1813.
THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bounden Joel Ingersol Administrator of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of James Cullin late of Grand Manan deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Joel Ingersol or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for them and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Prerogative Court at or before the twenty second day of January next ensuing; and the same Goods Chattels and Credits and all other the Goods Chattels and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Joel Ingersol or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to law ; and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of the said Administration, at or before the twenty second day of October next; and all the rest and residue of the said Goods Chattels and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Administrators Account., the same being first examined and allowed of by the Judge or Judges for the time being of the said Court, do deliver and pay unto such person or persons respectively as the said Judge or Judges by his or their decree or Sentence, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the Statute made in twenty-second and twenty-third years of the Reign of King Charles the second, Chapter the tenth, entitled "an act for the better settling Intestate Estates," shall limit and appoint ; and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased and the Executor or Executors therein named do exhibit the same into the said Court making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said Joel Ingersol within bounden being thereunto required do render and deliver the said Letters of Administration [approbation of the said Testament being first had and made] in the said Court ; then this obligation to be void and of none effect, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
