Jason Horace Green (Snag), 93, of Seal Cove, Grand Manan passed away Monday evening December 30th, 2002, at the Grand Manan Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Ingalls Head he was the son of the late Leon and Rozina (Small) Green. Mr. Green was a line and Lobster fisherman, a member of the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church. Mr. Green is survived by his wife Emily Esther (Benson) Green at home, one son Murray Green (Carolyn) Seal Cove, three sisters Dorothy, Cora and Marguerite, two brothers Joseph Green (Virginia) Ellsworth, Payson Green (Josephine) Deer Island, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter Floella Rose, one son Jason Horace, one sister Ruth, five brothers Merrill, Paul, Milford, Herman, and Kenneth. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday January 1st, at the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church, 2-4, 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 PM with Rev. Ward McComiskey officiating. Interment to follow in the family plot Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia, N.B. Donations to the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
