GREEN, LAURENCE LEE (BUD) - 73 - Of Grand Harbour, passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital after a brief illness on Wednesday morning, March 5th, 2003. Born at Grand Harbour he was the son of the late Archie and Elva (Dakin) Green. Mr. Green was a retired fisherman. He is survived by his wife at home Gwendolyn (Bagley) Green, one daughter Janene Green, two sons Merton (Victoria) Green and Justin Green all of Grand Manan. Three sisters Lona Urquhart, North Head, Shirley (Donald) Parker, Grand Harbour, Doris (Theodore) Huckins, Woodwards Cove and three grand children. Mr Green was predeceased by one daughter Lorena Mae, one sister Lila Harris, and one half brother Merrill Dakin. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home, Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Grand Harbour Baptist Church on Friday, March 7th, at 1:30 pm with Rev. Troy Dennis officiating. Interment will take place later in the spring in the family plot Maple Grove Cemetery, Hill Road, Grand Manan, N.B.
