The death of Hiram C. Foster of Grand Manan, NB, loving husband of Frances (Ingersoll), occurred on Thursday June 19, 2003 at the Grand Manan Hospital. Born April 27, 1915 in Grand Manan, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorcas (Jones) Foster. Mr. Foster was self employed as an Electrician and Plumber, he was a member of Grand Harbour Baptist Church. He is survived by his son Richard (Ellen) and daughter Barbara Foster both of Riverview, NB; sister Helena Russell of Grand Manan; two grandchildren Loriann (Svein) Sveinson and Peter Foster; three great grandchildren Alison and Emma Foster and Matthew Sveinson; one niece and two nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Terrance. Visitation will be held from Grand Harbour Baptist Church, Grand Manan, on Friday June 20, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday June 21, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
