FLEET, HARVEY MERTON - The death of Harvey Merton Fleet, of Grand Manan, NB, husband of the late Ethel (Joy) Fleet occurred on March 23, 2005 at the Grand Manan Hospital. Born 1924 in Grand Manan, NB he was the son of the late Caleb and Faye (Locke) Fleet. Harvey his survived by his two sons Stillman and Gerry (Sheila) both of Grand Manan; four daughters Lorraine Harvey (Searle), Dianne Ashfield (Allen), Cynthia Fleet and Faye Guptill (Roger) all of Grand Manan; two brothers Hatsel and Arthur (Marian) both of Grand Manan; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, son Sydney Joy predeceased him. Visitations will be held from United Baptist Castalia Church on Friday March 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Church on Saturday March 26, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice.
