Know ye that at Richibucto in the County of Kent on the twenty eighth day of November
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine.  Before me James A James, Esquire  being thereunto delegated and appointed the Last Will and Testament of Fidel CAISEY, late, of Richibucto in the County aforesaid was proved and is now approved and allowed by me.

and that Administration of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the
said Will is granted unto Ioachine Casey one of  the Executors on the said Will.

In the Name of God, Amen

I Fidel Caisey, of the Parish of Richibucto in the County of Kent and Province of New Brunswick being in good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind and memory, being desirous of
setting my worldly affairs and directing how the estate... with which if has pleased God to help me...

I give and devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Osith Caisey the half of all my property
both Real and personal during her natural life.

I give and devise and bequeath to my sons Michael Caisey and Placide Caisey
two hundred acres of land situated on the North side of Chockpish River the same equally to be divided amoung them  Michael to have the upper part and Placide to have the lower part.

Second..Andrew Caisey, my son, received thirty pounds

I give and devise and bequeath to Marguerite Caisey my daughter married to
Stephen Thibedeau seventy acres of land situated on the North side of the Chockpish River
bounded by  Chris Babineau and Thomas ( ?) property.

I give devise and bequeath to Silvanus Caisey, my son ,my old habitation will all the improvements  belonging thereto with the exception of the piece of land on the other side of the road...
I give and bequeath to him,  Silvanus Caisey two other piece of land namely one in the Cove
including all...the and interest of the late Peter Gallant...the other piece lying on the Portage
..... Chockpish and joining Martin Richard.

Having divided my marsh among my children my will is that the said division shall be
observed after my death.

Having bequeathed to my beloved wife Osithe, the half of all my property my will is that she shall enjoy the half of all the moveables and half of my house during her natural life.
 My will is that my children shall have are...equal share all of requests I have made and
which are not mentioned in this will.

Lastly I nominate and appoint my brothers Pelin ( ?Peter) and Ioachine CAISEY
to be my executors of this Will.

the second day of Nov in the year of our Lord onr thousand eight hundred and forty six

Probate Court:
Be it remembered on the 28th day of Nov 1859 personally appeared before me Ioachine Caisey whose name is subscribed as one of the Witnesses.  Also Fabien Richard whose name also appears as a witness...
