Read the petition of Michael Cummings of Weldford in the County of Kent....
WILLIAM CUMMINGS late, of the Parish of Weldford within the said County departed life on or about
the twenty eighth day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred  and fifty one without
having made any Last Will and Testament.  Having Real and Personal property ...said parish of one hundred
and fifty pounds.

the said WILLIAM CUMMINGS was unmarried and left (?three) brothers...your petitioner and John Cummings
and James Cummings.  That the said John resides somewhere in the United States of America and James who
is a resident in Ireland.  Your petitioner ....the only..... residing within County or Province.

...I do...grant unto you, Michael Cummings authority to administer.........
