FRANK P. BOYLE
The death of Frank P. Boyle of Rothesay, occurred Thursday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Born at Titusville, the son of the late FRANK AND JANE (McNULTY)BOYLE, he had been a well-known resident of Kings County for many years.
Mr. Boyle had been engaged in dairy farming and lumbering prior to his retirement in 1940. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay. His wife the former MISS AGNES McMACKIN, died in 1940. Surviving are four daughters: MISS JOSEPHINE BOYLE, MRS. GERALD DOHERTY AND MRS. MELVIN TOTTEN,
all of Saint John and MRS. GERALD FENNELL, Lower Kars; six sons, Clarence Boyle, Boston, Ernest ---

03/06/2003  DAGLISH, FRANK - The death of Frank Daglish occurred March 3, 2003 at his residence in Nauwigewauk, N.B. Husband of the late Ella May (Saunders) Daglish and son of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Temple) Daglish. Frank was born in Washington County, Durham, England. He was a resident of Hampton since 1973. Frank served in the R.A.F. as a Lance Corporal. He was a member of the Hampton Legion Branch 28, K.V. Senior Bowlers and was a retired member of Local #3. Frank is survived by two daughters, Wendy McGee of Hampton, Elizabeth (Paul) McGee of Nauwigewauk, four grandchildren, Kelly (Peter) Thompson of Nauwigewauk, Aden (Erica Price) McGee of St. John’s, NL, Scott (Tanya Fowler) McGee of Clarenville, NL, Cst. Christopher McGee of Fort St. James, B.C., one great grandson, Ethan Thompson of Nauwigewauk and innumerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Legion Service at 9:30 am Friday and a Memorial Service to follow at 10:00 am at Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Donations to United Way of Greater Saint John or charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Internment will be later in the spring. A reception to follow after the service at the Hampton Legion Branch #28. Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main St. Hampton (832-5541) in care of arrangements.

EMERSON, JEAN ARMSTRONG The funeral service for Jean Armstrong (Dinnie) Emerson of Rothesay, New Brunswick, wife of the late Robert Lorimer Emerson, was held from St. Paul's Anglican Church where the service was conducted by Rev. Canon Richard McConnell and assisted by Rev. James Golding. Rev. Canon Brian H. Campion was present in the congregation. The organist, Michael Smith accompanied the Church Choir. Active pallbearers were: Justice Wallace Turnbull, Edward Reevey, Jim Connolly, Mike Bishop, Charles MacKay and John Mulcahy. Many floral tributes and remembrances were received from family and friends. Interment took place in Fernhill Cemetery. The arrangments were under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick. 


FAIRWEATHER, MRS. AGNES CHARLOTTE 
Died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saint John, April 14, 1965. She was 69. Born in Glace Bay, NS, she was the daughter of the late Dr. and Ada (Cameron) MacKeen. She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Justice J. H. A. L. Fairweather in 1948. Survived by three sons, R.Gordon Fairweather (MP for Royal), David (Rothesay) and Dr. Jack L. (Pittsburgh, PA); one step-daughter, Mrs. F. R. Connell (Saint John); one sister, Miss Dorthea MacKeen (New London, CT); several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Rothesay, an internment in Fernhill Cemetery.

FARRIS, RONALD LEE - The death of Ronald Lee Farris of Centennial Road, Hampton, N.B., formerly of Jemseg, husband of Dorothy (Thorne) Farris, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, August 7, 1998, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Saint John on January 26, 1914, the son of the late Woodford and Ella (Wonmacott) Farris. Ronald was employed by farming, wood's work and later as a park attendant at Green Acres until the time of his retirement. He was a member of First Cambridge United Baptist Church, besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Lee of Saint John, and one daughter, Eleanor Hanson of Lr. Hainesvilles, two grandsons, Craig Morehouse of Burtt's Corner and Barry Morehouse of Lr. Hainesville, and one granddaughter, Candace Farris, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Erie and one sister, Edith Fanjoy. Visitation will take place at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 9, from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. The interment will take place at First Cambridge United Baptist Church Cemetery at Mac-Donalds Corner at a later date. 

Frazee, Joseph “Joe” Donald 
June 23 1918-March 10 2001

HAYMAN, Joseph M. -- Formerly of Low Wood Estates, Rothesay, N.B., husband of the late Alice Elaine ( Snowden) Hayman, occured on Tuesday, March 4, 1997, in Moncton Hospital. Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late Archibald and Isabel (MacIntosh) Hayman. Mr. Hayman retired in 1968 as the assistant general manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia in New Brunswick, after 42 years of service. He was a member of Hibernia Lodge 3, F?AM; Scottish Rite; Luxor Temple Shrine; former member of Union Club; Balls Lake Fishing Club and Riverside Golf Club. He is survived by sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Harry Miller) Moncton; sister-in-law, Mrs. Marion Hayman, Vancover, B.C.; a niece and several nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Brenton Hayman. By request of the family there will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Brenan's Funeral Home, Saint John.

JOHNSON, JOHN L. - The death of John Lloyd Johnson, of Saint John St. Stephen Nursing home, formerly of East Riverside, Rothesay, NB, husband of Jessie Gertrude (Lindsay) Johnson, occured on Thursday, September 3, 1998 at his residence. Born in Upper Stewiacke, NS, he was the son of the late Henry and Jane (Gammell) Johnson. Lloyd was a 103 years old and celebrated his 67th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, September 2, 1998. For the past 27 years he was a resident of the Saint John area, and had prior engagements in farming in Upper Stewiacke all his life. He was a member of Springside United Church serving as a member of the session, treasurer of the church, on the board of Stewarts, and member of Elm Masonic Lodge #115 F&A.M. and past president of the Colchester County Farmers Association. Survived by one daughter; Francis (Dr. Murdock) Smith of Sydney, NS; two sons; Henry McGill (Elsa) Johnson of Edmonton, Alberta, and Dr. William Lindsay (Carol) Johnson of Saint John, NB; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place at Brenan's Funeral Home and Crematorium, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424. A Masonic graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 1998 at 2:30 PM at Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke, NS. Remembrances to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. 

JONES, ROY 
The funeral of ROY JONES, Lower Kars, was held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. RUSSELL EARLE, to Erb's Cove Church, where service was conducted by Rev. Lorne W. Matheson, Hatfield Point. A solo was sung by Mrs. Phyllis Earle.
Mr. Jones was the son of the late HENRY AND EMMA JONES. He is survived by his wife, the former JEAN LOUISE WILLIGAR; four sons, GEORGE and EARL, both of Evandale; HENRY, Lower Kars, and ARTHUR, at Home; four daughters, MISS EVELYN JONES, Evandale; MRS. RUSSELL EARLE, Hampton; MRS. STERLING EARLE, Toronto and MISS BARBARA JONES, at home; one brother PERCY JONES, Kingston; six grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were John VanWart, Myles Jenkins, Myron Erb, George Earle, Roy Scribner and Sterling Scribner. Interment was in Erb's Cove Cemetery.

KEIRSTEAD, James Walter 
The death of James Walter Keirstead, 318 Union Street, Saint John occurred at the convolescent wing of the Saint John General Hospital. He was 47 years of age.
Born in Gondola Point, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mina (Reicker) Keirstead.
He was a member of Calvary Temple and was employed at the Admiral Beatty Hotel.
He served in the Militia during the 2nd World War. He is survived by sister, Mrs. Willard McCaffery, Oromocto and several nieces and nephews.
The body rested at Brenans Funeral Home, Saint John, where the funeral was held.
Entombment is at Fernhill Cemetery.
Interment will take place in the Gondola Baptist Church Cemetery in the spring.

LEASK, DR. IAN MACKENZIE - Dr. Ian MacKenzie Leask of St. George Street, Sussex, N.B., passed away at Sussex Health Centre on September 5, 1998. Born in Stouffville, Ontario, on August 13, 1948, he was the son of Hilda Muriel Leask and the late Frederick Alexander Leask. Survived by his wife Brenda (Robinson) Leask, three daughters, Lyndi, Robyn, and Nikki, a son, Kris, all at home. A brother, Alex, and his wife Cathy of Uxbridge, Ontario, several nieces and nephews. His mother-in-law, Shirley Robinson, sister-in-law, Sandra Lammens and her husband Hans of Wards Creek and a brother-in-law, Larry Robinson of Fredericton. Ian was a Veterinarian with the New Brunswick Department of Agriculture. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation Monday 7-9p.m., Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on September 9, 1998, at 3:30p.m. with Rev. Bob Hussey officiating. Interment will be at Kirk Hill Cemetery. Donations made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Paul's United Church or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. 

LYMAN, MRS. H.E. (Ada Amelia)
Mrs. Ada Amelia Lyman wife of Henry E. Lyman, died at her residence in Rothesay on April 16, 1965. Born in West River, Albert Co., in 1881, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Janie (Hayes) Marks. Survived by her husband; two sons, Herman C. Yensen (Peterborough, ON), Norval H. Lyman (Rothesay); three daughters, Mrs. Harry Butland (Saint John), Mrs. Harold Butland (Alma), Mrs. Gordon Smith (Toronto); two brothers, James (Milo, ME), Hayes (Hampton); two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Geldart (Stewiacke, NS) and Mrs. Harold Parent (Milo, ME); 30 grandchildren. Funeral was Monday at Brenan’s Funeral Home with internment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.

The death of Daniel B. Morrell occured at an early hour this morning at his summer home, Rothesay, NB. He was a member of St. Paul's Church. Mr. Morrell was a son of the late Gilbert ? Anne Morrell of Hatfield's Point. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Charles of this city, ? Raymond, 1 daughter, Miss A. Winnifred, ? 1 sister Mrs Burpee Morrell, of Hatfield's Point.

MORRISON, WILLIAM A. The funeral of William Andrew Morrison of 20 Shipyard Road, Rothesay, New Brunswick, husband of the late Lorena M. (Thompson) Morrison, was held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row. The Service was conducted by Rev. Gordon Cook. The organist and soloist was Phyllis Richard. The pallbearers were: Barry Thompson, Don Thompson, Danny Thompson, Peter Thompson, Brad Lynch and Mike Morrison. Among the floral tributes received was one from the congregation of Kingston United Baptist Church. Remembrances were received for: the Canadian Cancer Society, including those from Douglas Home Improvement, and the College Senior Management Team, New Brunswick Community College, Saint John; the Romero House Soup Kitchen; the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan; Children's Wish Foundation; the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick; Park Avenue United Church; the Salvation Army; the Masonic Charities and Housing; and the Christopher Court Memorial Scholarship Fund. Interment took place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.

MULHERIN, MARY E. - Mary E. Mulherin of Saint John, widow of Lawrence Mulherin, died August 31, 1998 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was a resident of Norton the greater part of her life moving back to Saint John four years ago. She was a member of the Central Norton United Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Berube (Ken Voutour) Sussex, Mary Lou Trifts of Saint John, Florence Bitters (Ron) of Colorado; three sons, Randy Mulherin (Beth), of Saint John, Gerald Bastian of Saint John, Timmy Bastian (Brenda) of Sussex; one sister Frances Cormier (Edward) of Saint John; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Annie Murphy, one son Jimmy Bastian and one brother James Murphy. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The Funeral will be held Thursday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00pm. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday and Wednesday.

PEARSON, JOHN EUGENE - At his residence, Pearsonville, N.B., on Tuesday, September 1, 1998, J. Eugene Pearson, age 72, husband of Ethel (Myers) Pearson. He was the son of the late Murray and Florence (Smith) Pearson. Survived by his wife, three sons; Gerald and wife Sharon of Searsville, John and wife Susan of Smith Creek and Mark and wife Kim of Sussex, five grandchildren, two sisters; Thelma, Mrs. Joe Whelton of Sussex and Mabel, Mrs. Otty Buchanan of Fredericton, four brothers; Gerald of Sussex, Kenneth and wife Verna, Long Creek, Ronald of Highfield and Melvin and wife Patricia of Highfield, five step-children; Austin and Jane Myers, Wanda and Jack Lynch, Leanne Targett, Douglas and Dale Pearson and Doris Davis, 13 step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by daughter Florence and brother Lewis. ROBINSON, Everett William
Stricken with a heart seizure, EVERETT WILLIAM ROBINSON, well known C.N.R. station master at Rothesay, died Monday evening at his home in Rothesay. He was 62 years of age. For the last 16 years he had been station master at Rothesay and prior to coming there had served in simialr capacities at Sussex and Shediac. He had served 43 years with the railway.
Mr. Robinson was born at Scotch Settlement, son of the late JOSEPH AND KATHERINE (BUCHANAN) ROBINSON, and had been a resident of Penobsquis for some years. An Anglican by faith, he had been a member of the Church of England at Waterford and since residing in Rothesay had attended St. Paul's Church.
An ardent sports enthusiast he was particularly fond of hunting and fishing and in his youth had played baseball and hockey. He was a member...... (part of write up missing)

The body rested at Brenan's Funeral Home, from where the funeral was held yesterday afternoon. Interment was in Pioneer Cemetery, Penobsquis.

Survived by her husband, Mother; Dinah (Lily)\(Robinson) Green of Sussex, one brother; Wilfred and wife Pat Green of London, ON, one nephew; Darryl Green of London, ON and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah Witnesses, 1155 Main St., Sussex Corner, on Saturday, September 5, 1998, at 2:00 PM. WINSLOW, GRACE L. - Mrs. Grace L. Winslow, widow of Warren Winslow died September 6, 1998, at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. Born in Hillsdale, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Susan (Pollock) Allen. She was a resident of St. Martins most of her life where she was a member of St. Martins United Church and St. Martins Orange Lodge. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Viola Olsen of Sussex, N.B., Mrs. Eileen Floyd of Barnesville, Cora, Mrs. Paul Thompson of Dartmouth, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home, (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, from where the funeral will be held Wednesday, September 9, 1998, at St. Martins United Church at 1:00p.m. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery, St. Martins. WHITTAKER, FRANCES ELIZABETH - The death of Frances Elizabeth Whittaker of 26 Fifth St., Moncton, N.B., passed away on August 31, 1998 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Woodstock, N.B. on March 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Karl H. Vroom of St. Stephen and the late Greta Mae Mott of Belyea's Cove. She was a Homemaker and attended the St. James Anglican Church. She was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters #1748 and a member of the Pythian Sisters Jennie Miller #20. She is survived by her husband Ford Whittaker, one son Karl and Jean of Riverview, one brother Charlie Vroom of Fredericton, N.B., three sisters Eleanor Prosser of Saint John, Betty Day of Saint John, Celia McConnell of Hoyt, N.B., grandchildren Kimberley, Kevin and Kellie, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530), 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton with visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 3rd at 2 p.m with Rev. WILLIS, MARGARET E. The family of the late Margaret (Margie) E. Willis would like to thank the Rothesay Police, Ambulance, and Rescue Team for their quick response.
