Coroner's Jury

   An investigation was taken for Our Sovereign Lord the King at St. George in the County of Charlotte on Monday the 8th day of June, A.D. 1942, and by adjournment at Black's Harbour in the Parish of Pennfield, in the County of Charlotte, on the 16th day of June, 1942, and by further adjournment at Black's Harbour on the 19th day of June, upon oath of Donald McLean, James Cameron, Ora Thompson, Lourie Ingersoll, Delbert Gallagher, Willard Chisholm and Chipman Brewer, being good and lawful men of this said county, duly sworn:

   We unanimously agree that the deceased Bernice Connors came to her death on the Deadman's Harbor Road, Black's Harbour in the County of Charlotte, Province of New Brunswick, between the hour of 9 o'clock p.m., June 5, 1942 and 9:30 o'clock p.m., June 7, 1942.

   We also agree her death was caused by injuries received as the result of a brutal attack inflicted upon her by a person or persons undisclosed."
