Mom and I were present at the ceremony and enjoyed it very much. We couldn't believe the amount of people there as well. We heard my grandfather's name read which meant a lot to us. I think it was well organized and went very smoothly. It sure received the recognition it deserves. Thanks again Chris for a job well done and for the invitation.

Best Regards
Peter

TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES: Peter Waycott's paternal grandfather, G.W. (Buddy) Waycott, was one of the six (6) civilians killed at the Pennfield Ridge Air Station.

Dear Chris,

Once again I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for what you have done in recognizing David's efforts in establishing the "Pennfield Memorial". I'm quite sure it would not have happened had it not been for you.

I found the service very meaningful and was pleased that Ann and John were invited to take part.

Very Sincerely,
Joyce Stuart

TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES: Joyce is the widow of J. David Stuart, founding member of the "Charlotte County War Memorial Committee (2005)".
