HALIFAX, Aug. 12 - (C.P.) - Eastern Air Command headquarters of the R.C.A.F. today released the names of three airmen missing since a plane from
Pennfield Ridge, N.B., crashed off the southern New Brunswick coast Tuesday. The name of a fourth crewman was withheld pending confirmation that his next-of-kin has received notification.
The three identified airmen were PO. J.C. Allen, whose wife lives at (8921 89th Ave.) Edmonton; Sgt. R. Laws, Napier, New Zealand; and Sgt. T.A. Albrey, Oroua Downs, New Zealand.
The plane wreckage was spotted from the air late yesterday. No report has been received concerning the fate of the airmen.
