PENNFIELD RIDGE, N.B.
- Believed to be the youngest air passenger in Canada's history, Meraline Russell left here last night in a Trans-Canada Air Lines plane when less then 24 hours old.
The child, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald G. Russell, Black's Harbour, N.B., was flown to the Montreal Neurological Hospital following her birth at St. Stephen last night. The 40-mile trip to Pennfield Ridge was made by
automobile.
Accompanied by a nurse, the infant was not reported in serious condition and it was believed she could be treated properly.
