To his Excellency the Honorable Arthur H. Gordon, C.M.G. Lieutenant Governor, and Commander in Chief of the Province of New Brunswick &c, &c, &c,
The Petition of George Sunderland of the Parish of Saint George in the county of Charlotte
Humbley Sheweth
That he is a British Subject, over 18 years of age,
and is not at present interested in nor owner of any other land.
That he is disirous of purchasing for actual Settlement One hundred
Acres of Wilderness Crown Land, situated as follows--
'Fronting on the West Bank of the River Magaguadavic, known and distinguished as
Lot No. 12 in Block Forty
(Not to interfere with the right to cut Timber and other Lumber under License applied for
previous to this Application)
And prays leave to pay for the same agreeably to the Regulations for the Land sold under conditions of actual settlement.
And in duty bound will ever pray

Before me Daniel Gillmor Esq one of her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Charlotte personally appeared the above named George Sunderland and made Oath that all the statements set forth in the forgoing Petition are just and true.
