No. 57 to Edward Reynolds
Know all Men by these presents that we Alexander Forbes Mylne
of Saint George in the County of Charlotte and the province of New Brunswick
yeoman and Mary wife to the said Alexander Forbes Mylne. For
and in consideration of the sum of Thirty pounds lawful money of the province
of New Brunswick aforesaid to us paid by Edward Reynolds of Saint
George aforesaid in the County of and Province aforesaid the receipt presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the said Edward Reynolds his Heirs
and Assigns one third part of my farm Lot of Land situate lying and being
on the Eastern side of the Magaguadavic River between the Forks and the
Fredericton Road the said lot being granted to the said Alexander Forbes
Mylne by letters patent under the Great Seal of the province of
New Brunswick aforesaid and the third part now sold to commence at a beech
Tree marked on the Eastern Bank of said River at the lower or Southerly
line of said lots and to extend up stream one third of the Front of the
same and thence North Easterly to the (?) thereof to contain one hundred
and ten acres More or less To Have and to Hold the said Lands and premises
with the Appurtenances to the said Edward Reynolds his Heirs and Assigns
and to his only use and behoof forever and we do for ourselves our Heirs
Executors and Administrators covenant with the said Edward Reynolds His
Heirs and Assigns that we are seized of the premises as a good indefeasible
estate of inheritance in fee simple free of and from all manner of encumbrances
whatsoever (Rents Dues Conditions Reservations and Services due and reserved
to the King only excepted) and that we have a good right full power and
lawful authority to Grant bargain and sell the same in manner and form
as above written in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seals
this twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and twenty five and in the sixth year of his Majesty's reign.

Be it remember that on the twenty ninth day of March in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five Personally came and
appeared before me Patrick Clinch Esquire one of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Charlotte at Magaguadavic the within named
Alexander (page 75) Forbes Mylne and Acknowledged his signature
to the within instrument of writing to be his voluntary act and deed For
the purposes therein mentioned and Mary his wife being by me examined separate
and apart from her said Husband acknowledged that she signed the same of
her own free will and accord without any threat or compulsion on the part
of her said Husband
