WILLS AND DEEDS OF ST. GEORGE, NB

Last Will and Testament
In the name of God. Amen.
I, Arthur O'Neill of the parish of St. George in the County of Charlotte and Province of New Brunswick, Tailor.  Being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this day my last Will and Testament in the manner following:  that is to say:--
In the first place, I give, grant, will, devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Johanna all the property I may die possessed of whether real estate, leases, goods, chattels, notes, accounts, and every other kind of property real personal or mixes of every kind and description, to her my said wife Johanna her heirs and assigns forever---
Secondly_I will direct and wish her to pay all attention to the children and bring them up in the fear of God---:
Thirdly_I will direct and wish her as soon as may be to settle up with all parties to whom I may be indebted at the time of my death, and pay my said debts.
Fourthly_I hereby revoke any will or wills hither to for made by me--And I do hereby will nominate and appoint my dear wife Johanna to the sole executrix of this my last will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal of St. George aforesaid this sixteenth day of March in this year of our Lord, one thousand and eight hundred and fifty nine.

    To George I. Thomson Esquire Surrogate Judge of Probates for the County of Charlotte and Province of New Brunswick.
    The Petition of Johanna O'Neill of the Parish of Saint George in the County of Charlotte--widow and relict of Arthur O'Neill late of the said Parish Tailor since deceased
                                            Humbly Sheweth
                                                                            That the said Arthur O'Neill departed this life on the thirty first day of March last past at the Parish of Saint George aforesaid having first duly made and execated his last will and testament in due form of law bearing date the sixteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine and thereby appointed your petttioner the sole executor thereof.  That immediately before the time of his said death the said Arthur O'Neill was an inhabitant of the said County of Charlotte and that he died seized or otherwise entitled unto Real Estate of the value of one hundred pounds situate within the said County and personal Estate to the Value of two hundred pounds.
    Your petitioner therefore humbly prays that she may be admitted to prove the said last Will and testament and that letters testamentary may be granted thereof to her in due form of Law and as in duty bound, will ever pray.
                Dated this sixth day of September A.D. 1859
