The J. Sutton Clark store in St. George, NB
is decorated in support of Liberal Andrew G. Blair during the 1896 provincial
election.
The sign describes the candidate as New Brunswick's
ablest statesman. Mr. Blair was NB's seventh premier, serving between
1883 and 1896.
