ST.GEORGE HISTORICAL PICTURES
LAKE UTOPIA

"Canoeing and rafting, as shown above, are still popular activities on the lake. In fact, some of the more remote regions and island cottages can only be accessed via boat." David Goss
This image taken from the book "Images of Canada St. George
and Its Neighbours" written by David Goss with Elizabeth Toy. She has used
approx. 200 of her extensive photo collection of over 2000 pictures, some taken
and developed by her mother Phoebe Toy, to portray the history of St. George,
NB. David Goss has captioned each of these photos, and the combination recounts
the history and beauty of the St. George area.
The following is the publisher of the book, and though I cannot find it listed
as yet, I'm sure it will be soon.

I have received permission from David Goss and Elizabeth Toy to use any of the
pictures that were donated by either of them. A most generous offer. However I
will not be using all, as the success of the book depends on the copies sold.
Please remember that any images and captions used are copyrighted by David
Goss and Elizabeth Toy and please get in touch with David at
gosswalk@nbnet.nb.ca to discuss use of
such.
