der in Chief of the Province of New
Brunswick &c &c &c
The Petition of Eliza Hitchings, of
the Parish of Saint Andrews, in the County
of Charlotte, Widow.
Most humbly Sheweth
That there is no Schoolmistress in the
Parish of Saint Patrick, in the County aforesaid :
Your Petitioner is desirous of fillings the vacan-
cy _ That there is a School House provided
and that the Inhabitants of the said Parish
have subscribed ten pounds for the coming
year in aid of the said School.
Your Petitioner, therefore, requests your
Excellency to licence your Petitioner, as a
School Mistress for the County of Charlotte, as
by [His] Majesty's Royal instructions so[?] directed
And as in duty bound she ever pray

We the undersigned Trustees of the ParishSource and Comments
Schools, in the Parish of Saint Patrick do
hereby certify, that the facts set forth
in the before written memorial are
correct and true : and further that
the said Eliza Hitchings is well
qualified to keep a School, she ha-
ving been examined by us
9th July 1833
